League and Gameplay Rules Empty League and Gameplay Rules

These rules are to be abide by. There is a two strike policy, if you fail once You get a warning. If you fail twice you are removed. There will BE ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSES! And that includes I DIDNT KNOW!

To Play in this league you must read and agree to these rules:

    GAMEPLAY RULES

    1) We should all understand the definition of cheese. For the most part its something that the NFL wouldnt do. We try to emulate the NFL when we play so we ask that you do the same. This includes switching up your plays on both sides of the ball.

    2) QB Play: We ask that you do not drop back 30 yards, or that you do not sprint to the side lines every play so that you can get the best angle over the Defense on a specific route. We understand that circumstances arise and that you will have to scramble. Madden does a pretty good job with the pockets, and with protection for the most part every QB can sit in the pocket a little a make a play without having to run around. We can not stop you from sprinting to the side lines we just ask that you dont do it as much. However we are going to outlaw 20 yard drop backs just to chuck it up.

    3) S Routing: S routing is when you take control of the WR as the ball is in the air run the WR to the left or right to get the DB to follow you adnd pull he DB off the route and then run back to the spot screwing up the Defensive AI to make a catch. This is obviously more of a glitch on Man Coverage then anything but it has been a problem for years we expect you to not do it.

    4) Duo HB Sets: Are outlawed if you are running FB dives with your HB playing FB. Ok on all other plays

    5) Gap Shooting: Gap shooting is when you manually use your LB and stick him in between the A and B Gaps. This is a known glitch, it forces the Line to choose which player (the one in front of him, or the one in the gap) to block leaving the other wide open to the QB. It is a glitch and will not be tolerated.

    6) Dline Play: While I am of the addage that Dline play is cheap and for those who cant play Defense, it is not against the rules. The only thing that come with the rules is that you are not allowed to move the player pre snap except for the in game shifts. This also means that if you are playing as the DE you are not allowed to SWOOP to the outside of the tackle post snap. All DLine play must be used using the Right Analog stick and nothing else.

    7) Only 1 player allowed to be moved manually before snap on defense: If you want to give a player a pre snap audible to have them blitz, go back in coverage etc, thats ok. But you cannot like manually move your SS into the box then switch to someone else and move them. You can only move 1 guy manually before the snap. Use all the other shifts and alignments to move your other guys.

Cool Going for it on 4th Down: You CAN ONLY go for it on 4th and inches anytime as long as your inside your OPPONENTS 40 yard line. 4th and 1 or longer you CANT. You can go for it ANYTIME and ANYWHERE when losing in the 4th qtr. *At your own risk*

"Coaches Choice" - You get ONE TIME per game when you can for it when it doesn't fall under the above situations. EXCEPT WHEN LEADING

    9) Fake Punts/Field Goals: 1 Fake punt/field goal/xtra point is allowed per game. If you are leading by 7 or more points you CANNOT ATTEMPT A FAKE.

    10) Onside kicks/Fake onside: Fake onside kicks can only be attempted ONCE per game. Unless you are losing by 14 or more points in the 2nd Half multiple attempts can be tried. If you are leading by 7 or more points you CANNOT ATTEMPT a fake onside kick EVER. These rules apply to normal onside kicks as well.

    10) Running up the score: If you are winning by 21 or more please do not pass the ball. Run the ball, except for on 3rd down and long where if you are going to pass for the first down do it for the first and not to try and score. If you happen to score on the play so be it. If for some reason due to you doing nothing but running the ball the score gets under 21 you can go back to your old game plan. This is only applies to the 2nd half. In the first half do whatever you'd like to do. This applies to games vs the CPU as well.

    LEAGUE RULES:

    1) Weekly Deadlines: Deadlines are set to 3 DAYS from when the week is OPENED. If extensions are needed please bring it up to me. If it is not brought to me then an extension wont be given.

    2) Missed Deadlines: If you miss one deadline, you are given a warning. Miss two and you are removed. At that time you have the opportunity of coming back, if you come to me and let me know you still want in. If you dont then you wont get an invite. However if I do bring you back after missing two you will be removed for missing one more and wont be asked to come back.

    3) If our opponent is not around, they will be removed so that you can play the CPU at least 6 HOURS before the deadline. At that time you have 6 hours to get the game in, if you do not the game will be simmed. WHEN PLAYING VS THE CPU RESTARTS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. RESTARTING MUTIPLE TIMES VS THE CPU TO MAKE SURE YOU WIN IS NOT ALLOWED.

    4) If you are a team that is removed so another can play the CPU it will be only for the one game. An invite will be sent to you so that you can get back into the league right away however this will count as a missed deadline.

    TEAM ROSTERS (MINIMUM/MAXIMUM PLAYERS ALLOWED)

THE MINIMUM PLAYERS ALLOWED ON A ROSTER AT ONE TIME IS 53. THE MAXIMUM PLAYERS ALLOWED ON A ROSTER AT ONE TIME IS 55. IF YOU HAVE 55, YOU MAY RELEASE 2 PLAYERS TO GAIN MORE CAP ROOM. IF PLAYERS ARE RELEASED BECAUSE OF THE ROSTER SIZE, PLEASE POST THAT ALONG WITH THE CUT. WE THANK YOU
